No. Our initial consultation and ongoing advisory support are provided completely free of charge to eligible students. We are remunerated directly by our partner universities and colleges once a student successfully enrols, so there is no cost to you at any stage.
Yes. There is no upper age limit for a Tuition Fee Loan or Maintenance Loan — if you are 21 or over when your course starts, you're classed as a mature student and your entitlement is assessed on your own income, not your parents'. We help you check your eligibility and guide you through the application.
In many cases, yes. If you have Settled Status and have lived in the UK for at least three years before your course starts, you'll generally qualify for home fee status and full funding. Pre-Settled Status holders may also qualify, particularly EEA/Swiss workers and their family members, subject to residency and work-status conditions. We'll help you confirm exactly where you stand.
Yes. Refugees and those with humanitarian protection are eligible for home fee status and student finance from day one, without needing to meet the standard three-year residency requirement. This also extends to eligible dependants.
It can, but it doesn't necessarily rule you out. The key factor is whether your previous qualification is equivalent to, or higher than, the course you now want to study. Many students with an HND or Foundation Degree remain eligible for full funding on a related honours top-up or a different subject area — we'll review your specific situation with you.
For the 2026/27 academic year, eligible English students can borrow up to £9,535 for tuition fees, plus a Maintenance Loan of between £6,853 and £13,762 depending on household income and where you live while studying.
